Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for athletics early on discovering her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record the 200m race in 22.18 secs. She was the youngest participant in the 200 meters in the world championships that took place in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal the following year, by beating the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently in the top 3 in her various races at the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
